Check out my blog!

I am a country gal from East Tennessee who loves to cook, create, entertain and go on adventures with my Love and “Framily” (a little term I use for my Friends and Family.)  I fully enjoy spreading love, light, and encouragement to those around me.  I am perfectly imperfect and have an uncanny ability to laugh at myself, daily, as I go through this crazy little thing called LIFE.  And cows…. I love cows.

I am beyond blessed with a wonderful Husband – I normally refer to him as “My Love.”  I have 2 awesome stepchildren who are grown and have blessed us with 3 grandchildren and an amazing Daughter-in-Love.  My Farmin’ Daddy, my Brother, My Mother-in-Love and Brother-in-Love round out the immediate Tribe.  You will meet them and a lot of other special people as we go along.

I am a self-proclaimed Domestic Diva – cooking and entertaining is my jam.  I want to do all things creative – mostly crafting home and seasonal décor and sewing.  I can't draw a stick figure, so stencils and decals are my friend.   I love and appreciate mostly all forms of art and creative expression.  I am somewhat eclectic in my style – home and fashion.  For example, I love dresses and pretty shoes but I also love blingy shirts with skulls and all things Harley Davidson, jeans and boots.  My Love would like to be a minimalist in home décor; however, in true Southern Belle tradition, I decorate for all holidays and love “stuff".  I have a soft spot for all things old and somewhat worn and love to hear the stories behind those items. I must have been a crow in a different life as I love all things shiny.  I have never wanted to be like everyone else - unique is what I aim for.  I strive to make our family and friends feel welcome and excited to be in our home.  One of the greatest compliments I ever received was when my friend, Jacky, told me that our home makes her feel warm and loved the minute she enters.  Mission accomplished.

I am also a dollar store addict!  For sure.  100%!  Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar all have wonderful holiday and seasonal decorations - those are at the top of my addiction list followed by craft supplies.  I love thrift stores.  I adore all things old and tattered and gently (or not so gently) loved and the stories behind those items.  The creative side of me loves to repurpose Dollar Tree and thrift store items, so stay tuned for all those projects as we go along.  And, please, be sure to share your projects also!

Thanks for joining me on this adventure.  I am looking forward to getting to know you!  I am so glad you are here.  If you have a friend or family member who likes all these things also – please let them know about me, so they can join us here and on social media.  Please hop on over to the Subscribe to Email tab and sign up for my email list.  I won’t spam you, I promise!  I will send you updates on blog posts and any other fun things I might have going on.  Thanks so much!
